Do Hayes bicycles come fully assembled?
To ensure safe transit, bikes are shipped 85% assembled. You will need to install the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat. We include a basic tool kit and a step-by-step assembly guide with every order.
What is your return policy for gear and components?
We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in their original packaging. Please note that bicycles that have been ridden outdoors are not eligible for a full refund unless a manufacturing defect is present.
Do you offer a warranty on frames?
Yes, all Hayes Bicycle frames are backed by a limited lifetime warranty against structural defects for the original owner. Components and paint are covered under a separate 1-year limited warranty.
How do I find the right frame size for my height?
Each product page features a comprehensive size chart based on rider height and inseam. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down for more agility or sizing up for increased stability.
